The Alexander Residence is situated within a quiet location of Perth with views overlooking North Inch Park and to the south of the river Tay yet only a short walk from the city centre and its many attractions. Nicola was our single point of contact and we received excellent information
from her prior to our stay and on arrival as well as a friendly and professional welcome in line with the five-star ratings of the three separate apartments within the Alexander Residence. As part of our stay Nicola provided us with an allocated parking space in an off street car park just a short stroll around the corner from the apartment which removed any potential parking issues. The inclusive welcome pack which had been purchased from Provender Brown, an excellent local delicatessen, ensured that we had everything we needed for our breakfasts during our three night stay. We stayed in the Ericht apartment which has three double bedrooms,
master en-suite, a single bedroom, large comfortable sitting room, kitchen/diner and a large entrance hall. The standard and cleanliness of the apartment was excellent throughout. It is very well geared up for parties of up to eight and the furnishings, appliances, décor etc are of a very high standard and equal to, if not better than, many five-star hotels. For those interested in gadgets, the apartment is very well equipped and has a Sonos music system, Sky TV and WiFi. We had a good old stroll around Perth and its many shops and visited Fair
Maid’s House Visitor and Education Centre. We also treated ourselves to a lovely spa day at Crieff Hydro, which is only half an hour’s drive from the apartment. We dined out in Perth sampling tapas at Sante and wholesome portions
at the nearby Mexican. However, if you are in Perth we would recommend you treat yourself to the delights of 63 Tay Street whose chef and owner, Graeme Pallister, was named Scottish Chef of the Year 2013 at the CIS Excellence Award. The food was superb and up there with the best that we have tried in Scotland. If you are looking to visit Perth and you want to enjoy a luxurious
stay then we’d have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Alexander Residence. Prices from £400 for a three night break

from Roslin Glasgow’s Merchant City is buzzing with bars and restaurants and the Fraser Suites is conveniently placed for guests to enjoy these and the great shopping in the city centre. Our spacious apartment had great views across the city and was kitted out with a compact kitchen and incredibly comfy bed. These serviced apartments are a great place to stay for business and/or pleasure, with a fitness suite and continental breakfast served for those who wish to partake. The luxurious bathroom, fluffy robes and general standard of decor are reminiscent of a five- star hotel, as are the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beaumont from Edinburgh The Arthouse is located on one of Glasgow’s busiest streets and yet once inside with you would never know. The stunning centrepiece of the hotel is the original vintage lift. The modern decor sits well with the traditional architecture and the rooms are welcoming. The local staff have a number of recommendations for nearby places to eat. After a great night out the hearty breakfast and quality coffee were exactly what we needed to get us started for a busy day in the city. Prices from £79 per room per night
