S
hanti Island Joy Yoga Studio will open this month on Pine Island in a large, wood-framed geodesic dome at 6439 Fuller Drive, in Bokeelia. To celebrate, the studio is offering a free week of classes to new Lee County students.
Owner and instructor Isabel Francis, a certified massage therapist and YogaFit Yoga Level 1 teacher, says, “As baby boomers strive to remain healthy, flex- ible and in balance, they seek to partici- pate in mind/body classes such as yoga. Classes are specifically targeted at the 50-plus population, offering modifi- cations and true beginner level classes for a maximum of eight students per class.
