’Insolvency Law Firm of the Year – seven or less office locations’ in the Insolvency and Rescue Awards
The firm has just announced that for the first six months to end September 2013 its current year figures show double-digit growth. This is excluding its social housing business that was sold at the end of May 2013 as part of its strategy to concentrate its attention and investment on its core services for business and individual clients.

Conveyancing Firm of the Year at The Conveyancing Awards 2013
Recently appointed finance and technology director Tony Sadler said: “Combined with the positive signs that the economy is starting to recover, this gives good reason to be optimistic. However we know that the market for legal services will continue to be tough and that for continued
success and growth we will have to continue to excel in all aspects of our business including client service, business development and financial management.“
The firm is well positioned to take advantage of the upturn in the market with the range of services that it provides and already the impact is beginning to be seen and new opportunities arising.
Sadler added: “The firm is making a great deal of investment into its core services including new key appointments. The significant imminent move out of Kings Park House into modern and prestigious premises in Southampton, consistent with its Lakeside offices in Portsmouth, is part of the strategy for growth.’’
Managing partner Miles Brown said: “The firm is entering a new phase of growth and ambition and making a
number of strategic appointments that are critical to this, encompassing all aspects of our business. We have made some fundamental changes over the past couple of years, including our move to Lakeside and we are developing our business strategy with a strong focus on the Solent region and the South Coast.
“The strength of the business means we are also looking to expand, so we are continuing to look for suitable opportunities. We have top-class legal and operational teams that will enable us to grow our capabilities. This will be achieved both organically as we see the shape of our business reflect the market needs and opportunities and by acquiring strategic businesses that fit with our aspirations and cultural values.
“Our firm has a reputation for the personable and straightforward way we do business, which is dedicated to client service excellence demonstrated by the firm being shortlisted for the Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2013 for its Client Service Excellence training and development programme.’’
