ractising Yoga can be very helpful for parents. Caring for children can at times be exhausting and exasperating. It is when we are tired that our ability to respond in creative ways to the needs and demands of the family can seem to be lacking.
We need as much support as we can get at these times, to simplify our lives in order to create a space in which we can nourish and rejuvenate ourselves and thus have something to give.
If you are having trouble adjusting to disrupted sleeping patterns, balancing your needs alongside the needs of your family then Yoga can help you. Learning a few simple techniques around directing the mind
through linking breath and movement can be a very effective way of bringing about a more relaxed, peaceful state.
If you cannot commit to a regular weekly class then you can learn in more depth and at a pace that suits you, through a course of individual lessons which you can then fit in to suit you at home.
