Mystery Picture

In the last edition of arena, we invited you to consider a picture of somewhere at Freemasons' Hall, London and to tell us where that "somewhere" was, in exchange for a chance to be drawn from a successful entry pool and thereby win a bottle of champagne. To make it more difficult and worthy of an arena audience, the object photograph is disguised by being shown either in part or in extreme close up. The picture we showed is shown here with our apologies for the quality - our zoom lenses did their best!

In fact, in the search for a good quality image, arena climbed to the top of the tower of FMH, very kindly escorted by Messrs. Nick Ling and Mitch Cook of ANS Roofing and by kind permission of UGLE, but again, despite leaning out as far as possible, we weren't able to come up with anything better than this:

Nevertheless, it does show you that arena tries hard! Here is the final picture which shows the star in perspective and one which shows the view down from the top!

The winner of the arena March 2013 bottle was the keen-eyed Bro. Oliver Coddington of Phoenix Lodge No. 173 and the champagne will be handed to him on application. This edition's photo is shown to the right and the same instructions apply: your answers on an e-mail to the Editor! news@metgl.com

Happy searching!
