2. Bow Ties
I used to be envious of those who tied a proper bow tie to go with their dinner jacket for Installation meetings and the like. I wonder whether this easy-to-follow guide and pictures will be helpful to others in the same position...
Fold the first bow tie shape, bring the longer down in front Then tuck it in the loop behind.
Cross over, bring longer tail up behind, yes I can do that.
You may be thinking "What does he mean? What loop? It's a dead end! There's a bit of bow tie in the way, Dave!" Such frustration! Persevere however and I think you will crack it.

I hold my finger as I bring the top over the bottom, so I have a target to aim for. And it seems to work for me. To be honest, the first time I pull the end through it always looks a bit awful, but after a bit of tweaking, I believe I can now make a half decent attempt. Do you agree?
