Have you heard of the Masonic Samaritan Fund (MSF)? Since the charity began, it has touched the lives of over 1,200 London Freemasons and their dependants by providing medical, dental, counselling, mobility and respite care grants. How can the MSF increase this

number in the hope of ensuring that every eligible applicant has access to the support they need? You can help the MSF answer this question today by completing their short eight question survey. By sparing 5-10 minutes of your time to respond, you’ll be

instrumental in ensuring Freemasons and their families in London never have to wait longer than 12 weeks for treatment or support and don’t have to face unmanageable expense by covering the cost of their own private care.

Charity Contact Officer (x4) The Metropolitan Communications Team is

looking for four brethren to join the team and assist as volunteer Charity Contact Officers. The MMC and The Grand Charity make many donations to charities and the Communications

Team works with those charities to make sure that brethren and the wider public are appropriately

aware of the donation. Contact Officers also keep in touch with the charities so that we can see the difference our donation has made over time. We

understand the pressures of volunteering on home life and guarantee that contact time is likely to be no more than an hour or so a week on average. Training will be given but those interested should

be fully IT literate and have access to a telephone. Please contact news@metgl.com
