WHO ARE YOU A CARE PARTNER FOR? I am a care partner for my 25-year- old daughter.


HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A CARE PARTNER? I have been a care partner for over 2 years now since her diagnosis.


WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT HER? She is very tenacious in that she never gives up even when things are very tough. She is caring, loving and loyal to her family and friends, not to mention she has a great sense of humor.


WHAT AREAS DO YOU PROVIDE CARE FOR? When her energy lags, I cook for her, fill in for her at her weekly childcare job, and wake her up when she doesn't respond to her alarm. I am her advocate. I go to doctor's appointments, encourage her to be active when she doesn't feel like it and give her emotional support acting as her sound board when she needs one.
