Imagine. Imagine a routine high school day, and your fifteen year old is crying after school. As a consoling parent, I asked her, "Is it about your friends?" WHO ARE YOU A CARE PARTNER FOR? I am a care partner for my daughter, Kristen.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A CARE PARTNER? Kristen is now 29 years old. She was diagnosed at the age of 15.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT KRISTEN? As a parent, I always recognized that Kristen had a positive attitude. It was apparent when her neurologist asked her to talk with a patient.
