The highlight of the evening was when Nieto, who has been fighting ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s dis- ease) since his diagnosis in 2005, dis- played his strength gains by pump- ing out twenty 100 lb leg presses to the amazement of the over 1,000 Bash attendees. The 2013 Bash for Augie’s Quest raised over $1.6 million, includ- ing $200,000 from The Zumbathon for Augie’s Quest, an additional annual IHRSA convention event. Preparations are well underway for
