Buckinghamshire New University has launched the fi rst undergraduate fashion design degree which embeds ethics and


sustainability in all stages of the course specifi cally to meet the needs of the changing? fashion sector. As well as gaining the skills to thrive in fashion , students will gain a point of diff erence by acquiring the tools and knowledge to help create a more sustainable fashion industry, now an urgent and long term focus globally.


The BA (Hons) Fashion Design degree, which is taking applicants now, off ers an informed and creative approach to designing, materials and processes, with the emphasis on sustainability and protection of the environment.
