ntering competitions and prize draws professionally is known as ‘comping’. It’s probably something that’s never even crossed your mind,


but there’s a small group of people who do this sort of thing professionally and manage to win themselves some really great prizes.


The Institute of Promotional Marketing reckons that at any one time in the UK, there are around 30,000 competitions running. So that’s an awful lot of free stuff that companies are giving away entirely free.


Of course, the prizes vary greatly, but you could potentially win cars, cash, holidays, gadgets, and pretty much anything else that you can think of!


One of the best things as a student is that you do not have a 9-5 job which means that you can appear on competition shows such as Deal or No Deal too!
