Celebrate Nature at Annual Festival

xperience and celebrate South- west Florida’s natural paradise
at a variety of locations during the ninth annual Southwest Florida Nature Festival, taking place from January 18 to 20. The event will encompass more than 40 guided field trips, including birding walks and boat tours; and 20 wildlife venues, such as Naples Botani- cal Garden, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Big Cypress National
Preserve, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve Environ- mental Learning Center.
Most of the field trips take between two and four hours and can accommodate 10 to 20 participants. Become a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay for advance field trip registration.
Presentations by award-winning filmmaker Elam Stoltzfus, sharing video clips and stories from journeying on his Florida wildlife corridor expedition, with bear biolo- gist Joe Guthrie and photojournalist Carlton Ward, will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m., January 18 and 19.

Neale Donald Walsch to Appear at Unity of Naples

opular inspirational author and move- ment organizer Neale Donald Walsch will appear twice at Unity of Naples in February. He will discuss his philosophy and the essence of his new book, The Only Thing That Matters, from 7 to 10 p.m., February 15, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., February 16. Walsch has written more than 25 books on spirituality and its practical application to everyday life, including the bestselling With God series: Con-
