Mindfulness Workshops at PB Light Center

ohn Bruna (Jangchub Chophel) will lead two mindfulness workshops at PB Light Center, in Naples. A reception to meet Bruna at 7 p.m., January 22, will be followed by his presentation on Practical Buddhism in

Everyday Life. He will also present a Meaningful Mindfulness Workshop from 7 to 9 p.m., January 25, and from noon to 3 p.m. on January 26 and 27. The first session will focus on the essence of Buddhism


and how it applies to our modern world, while the three- session workshop, which includes meditation and discus- sion, will inform guests about methods to consciously live the life of their choosing. Currently the director of the Way of Compassion Foundation, Bruna is a counselor, educator and spiritual teacher who spent six years as an ordained Bud- dhist monk. He directed the visit of the touring monks of the Gaden Shartse monastery last year.
