Physical Education news Lower school gym re-opening


On Monday 8 October, the PE department had the pleasure of opening the lower school gym to their indoor lessons after an 18 month refurbishment. All classes were initiated with the following prayer:


Loving God, with hope and confidence in our hearts, we celebrate this time of new beginnings. Be with us and guide us in our learning. We ask this in Jesus name Amen.


Students were then able to step foot on the new flooring, some for the first time ever! To celebrate the re-opening of the gym, each year group was invited for a morning game of benchball with some staff joining the Year 9 game on the Friday. The PE department and students are looking forward to using the gym once again for lessons, clubs and more fun! Miss Clohesy
