Music, Drugs & Violence by Marwan Fateen

or every action, there’s an equal but op- posite reaction. - Isaac Newton. Every- thing has an origin and ultimate destiny.
This means you can look at something that exists, be it a physical object, biological entity or phenomenon, and trace it back to its origins. You can also figure out where its headed. In this, you can pin point all the influences and factors which effected it since inception. Scien- tists call this a root cause analysis. Something that seems very different and never coming in physical contact with something else can have a profound impact on the other object. Look at a train for example. It is moved along two tracks, which are parallel to one another. Sometimes it has a third rail that moves parallel to the other two tracks. Now you have three objects that never touch, in a steady consistent and equal distance, moving a train with hundreds, some- times thousands of people to their destinations. The two tracks and the third rail are similar to the mind, body and soul of a person, the sun, moon and earth, or the influence of a people by cultural and other factors. They never touch or contact yet have a tremendous effect on where you’re going even without your control, espe- cially if you find yourself on their train. Music is a track, education is a track, culture and influence is a track, media is a track and a group of people could also be a track.
