benefits from corporate welfare via interest free loans subsidized by the government in order for them to drain poor neighbor- hoods of whatever money is left over. And everything is disguised by giving people link cards and low income housing so the poor could be seen as the culprit of robbing the government of its wealth. Its really the other way around and this is only a smoke screen to hide that fact. It’s a very small example of what the US does for corporations. Prior to the New Deal,
entrepreneurs had to be business savvy and innovative. Mar- cus Garvey financed a line of
steam ships by selling Black people stock at $5 a share. The railroad industry was partially financed by selling people who lived along the tracks stock so they had both a business and personal inter- est in the industry and tracks. Rockefeller competed in the oil industry by selling his oil too cheap for his competitors to compete. After the new deal, corporations don’t really have a desire to compete or to make profits, their main focus is to provide jobs and to pre- vent an economic crisis such as the Great Depression. The Government made a deal with corporate America to supply them with finances as long as they create jobs and keep the
