economy afloat. This is why companies such as Enron in the 1990s could exist without having a purpose or product. Its only function was to create jobs. Corporations are given special privileges if they can show they can create jobs. In the 1990s, many corporations began to outsource their labor oversees. They still produced jobs but at a much lower expense, allowing them to keep most of the money they received from the government by not having to pay as much as a US citizen. This is where corpo-
rate America really began to abuse the system set up to help them. They exploited it to near oblivion. They feel entitled to
receive money and benefits even though they don’t have to work hard and earn it like other hard working citizens. They believe because they have the knowledge they are better than those without the knowl- edge. They actually prevent this knowledge from being known to the general public. They lobby the government for more money and support certain candidates who sup- ports their agenda, with money they received from tax payers. The voter and tax payer is the main person being screwed in the process. The long hours, the bills, the kids, the classes to seek better paying jobs occupy most of their time. They don’t really care what goes on out- side their busy lives. This only benefit the corporations, the CEOs, the charity cases, who thrives off this massive collec- tive ignorance. They feed off of it like vampires. They know as long as it exist, they will rule this society forever.
