Publisher’s Notes
It’s been two years since the last issue of BLACK Magazine hit the streets. I had time to analyze and re-evaluate myself, to seperate the facts from fiction, the truth from lies, the real from fake, the fantasy from reality. Now, I think this time around, the magazine will be better than ever. The last few years have been a great learning experience and I’ve grown as a writer and a person. They thought it was over, but it’s just begun. Sometimes you have to go back in order to move foward. I recreated myself and started writing poetry and selling it on the streets for whatever donation people would give me. It kept me sus- tained for the past couple years. Now I’m back to my first love. This is the first professional writing I’ve done in a very long time and it really does feels good.
