Ardbeg The President’s Malt

Sold for £7,990 by Mul- berry Bank Auctions, only 2 decanters of this special offi cial bottling of 1975 Ardbeg were produced and auctioned for charity in 2011, making it the rarest offi cial Ardbeg bottled by Glenmorangie so far.

The Macallan Royal Marriage

This is one of the most popular bottles of The Macallan. This example will be sold at the Tennants Fine Whisky Sale on 7 December and has an estimate of £600-1,000.

Port Ellen

The next Tennants Fine Whisky sale on 7 December will include a good collection of 1970s Connoisseurs Choice, including 3 bottles each of Port Ellen and Ardbeg.

Christopher’s Macallan 25 yo Jubilee

This Jubilee bottle doubled its estimate back in May, taking an astonishing £3,000 on the rostrum at McTear’s Auctioneers. Both celebrated for its quality and delivered in an impressive ‘double-measure’, it was a natural high-interest item for our Macallan collectors.
