● Any parent who fails to pay child maintenance will face penalty charges to cover the cost of enforcement action. A Liability Order will carry a fee of £300 and if the payment has to be recovered from the payer’s bank ac- count, a fee of £200 will be charged.
It does seem harsh that both parents face a financial penalty if one forces the other to use the system and cyn- ics will no doubt question whether the envisaged aims will happen in prac- tice. If you do want to comment this is the link:
