My Alpha, My Omega, My Bela… Thank you for allowing me to be the first human you saw when you were born, and the last you saw before that final rest.

To my rock of a husband, Tom; to our vet, Mike Erskine; to our farm manager, Dale Proctor; our ever patient farrier Tim Streaker, who never complained about trimming Bela’s feet while lying down; and to our farm owners Don and Trae Reuwer, who took care of Bela’s final arrangements so quickly and efficiently: thank you all. There are no adequate words to express the depth of my gratitude towards all of you who loved and supported Bela.
