4.Old Town Bay – Large sandy beach areas just north of Eagle
River.Not recommended for houseboats or boats with deep keels.
5.Log Dump – Stay clear of this area and watch for stray logs.
6.Murdock Point – Rocky shores - no beaching for one mile north. You will notice a white triangular sign on shore that says “Fishing Boundary.” There is no fishing from this area south to Sicamous during certain times of the year.
7.Bastion Creek – Some beaching to the north.
8.Bastion Bay – Private beaches and docks - no beaching north of Bastion Creek and south of Blackwood Creek.
9.Blackwood Creek – Private beaches and docks in the bay and for one half mile north and south.
10.Canoe Point – A large white house and red roofed buildings stand just to the north and behind the point.Dive Site – rock ridge running 70
feet.The wall dives approximately 300 feet vertically.

1. When leaving the Sicamous channel into the Shuswap lakes, stay to the left (south) of the towers with the green lights as the waters to the right (north) are very shallow and will certainly damage your boat if
grounded.Sand bars meander the bay up to the second tower.

12.Annis Bay – A sign on shore says “Cable” - no anchorage in this area. There is a private boat launch west of the cable sign with beaching areas east and west of the cabins.

14.Flashing Light – light is located
at the
point.There are private beaches to the
east.To the west, a rock seawall runs below a 350 ft.tunnel built for CP
Rail.The tunnel was named after the former mill owner ‘Annis.’ Directly above is a highway lookout with a beautiful view of Anstey Arm and Salmon Arm.
15. Rocky shores - no beaching for one half mile
west.Beach with care on the small sandy beaches for at least one half mile east and be alert for any upcoming storms.

Bemaphore Point – A white triangular sign on shore says “Fishing Boundary” - there is no fishing from this area east to Sicamous during certain times of year.Dive Site – “White Smith,” a 72 foot ice-breaker built in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s.A shallow and easy dive with a maximum depth of 30
feet.No beaching east to Sicamous.
17. Important - You must keep the towers with the green lights to your left (port/ north) when entering the Sicamous channel from the Shuswap lakes and keep them to your right (starboard/north) when leaving the Sicamous Channel.
