• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware fish mould circa 1760, the interior scale- moulded and naturally modelled as a fish (a firing crack to the base), 6” (15cms) long. (1)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware jug,of baluster form press-moulded with bands of shell ornament and applied with a strap handle (the handle broken and restuck), 4.5” (11.2cms). (1)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled teapot and cover circa 1760, of globular form with reeded spout and crab-stock handle, the cover with a button- moulded finial, painted in a vivid palette with a stylised bird above pierced rockwork issuing peony, the reverse with prunus issuing from further rockwork (chip to rim and crack, chipping to spout), 3.75” (9.5cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled teapot and cover circa 1755- 60, of globular form painted with scenes depicting castle ruin and other ruined buildings in stylised landscape below a diaper and demi-flowerhead pattern border (crack to base, crack by handle and restoration to handle), 4.25” (10cms). • A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled teapot and cover circa 1755-65, of globular form with crab-stock handle, finial and spout, sprigged with symmetrical sprays of stylised flowers in relief enriched in vivid palette (the spout restored), 3.5” (9cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire creamware hexagonal section teapot and cover circa 1765, perhaps William Greatbatch, with a griffin finial and a fluted spout with lamprey and scroll handle, the body crisply moulded with Oriental figures on a Greek key-pattern ground against ochre, brown, green and grey glazes (some minor damage to rim, finial and tip of spout), 6” (15cms). (2)
• Two Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled models of a lemon and a plum ,18th century, naturalistically modelled and coloured each on a moulded mount (faint hairline crack to one), 4” (10cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware mug circa 1755, of cylindrical form enamelled in a vivid palette with stylised flowers below leaf ornament, applied with a grooved strap handle (cracked to rim and chip to foot), 2.5” (6.3cms). (1)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled section teapot and cover circa 1755-65, of hexagonal form moulded in low relief with Oriental figures at various pursuits enriched in a vivid palette, the reeded spout and double scroll handle enriched in green, the finial formed as a griffin (crack to lower part and the spout broken and restuck), 6” (15cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware coffee-pot and cover circa 1745-50, of flared hexagonal form with a grooved strap handle to one side, the slender spout fluted and with a bird head terminal, the finial in the form of a recumbent lion, the panels press-moulded with stylised figures, animals and mythical beasts at various pursuits, one panel with a double-headed eagle below a coat-of-arms, within rope-moulded borders, the rim and cover moulded with masks (restoration to spout and cover), 9.25” (23.5cms). • A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware teapot and cover circa 1760, of globular form painted in a bright palette with a portrait of Frederick II of Prussia, in profile to the left, within a titled cartouche, the reverse with his insignia within a similar cartouche on ermine-patterned ground, the crab- stock handle, finial and spout enriched in monochrome (chips to spout and cover), 4” (10cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze stoneware teapot and cover circa 1760, of cylindrical form, th blue enamelled ground with crab stock handle and reeded spout, painted in a vivid palette with stylised flowers within pink and black line mirror-shaped cartouches on a turquoise/blue ground (cracks to base), 3.5” (9cms). (2)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled blue ground teapot and cover circa 1760-65, of globular form enamelled in a vivid palette with an open rose and bud to both sides on a blue ground, with rosette finial, leaf-moulded curved spout and crab- stock handle (chipping to tip of spout and small chip to cover), 4.5” (11.5cms). • A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware enamelled dish circa 1765, of leaf form naturally modelled as a mulberry-leaf, the stalk handle issuing berries and further leaves, supported by three rosette feet, enriched in shades of green and puce (slight chip to edge), 6.25” (16cms). (1)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware circular sugar bowl circa 1750-55, with an everted rim, sprigged with scrolling leaf ornament (cover lacking), 4.25” (11cms). (1)
• A Staffordshire salt-glaze white stoneware and parcel gilt teapot and cover circa 1750-55, with bird finial above a crab-stock handle and spout, the body with gilt foliage and border raised on three paw feet (crack to teapot flange), 4.5” (11cms). (2)
