Thursday May 24


Residents are invited to attend the Kings Hill Annual Parish Meeting in the Kings Hill Community Centre. Doors will be open from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 8.30pm to view displays from local groups. In the evening session there will be a Q&A session with the councillors. Everybody is welcome to attend. Refreshments served.

Sunday May 27 Twitch Heritage Centre will be open at Douces Manor, St Leonard’s Street, West Malling. 11am-4pm for the exhibition “Local Inns & Beer houses” as well as the permanent exhibition on West Malling Airfield. Free event.

Community Cuppa at St James Centre, Chapman Way, East Malling. Afternoon drop-in for parents, carers and friends. 1pm-2.30pm.


West Malling Women's Institute meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the Clout Institute, High Street, West Malling at 7.30pm.


Malling Stamp Club meets at the Clout Institute, West Malling High Street, at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month.


East Malling Singers rehearse on Wednesday evenings, 8pm-10pm, at St James the Great Church, East Malling.

Friday June 1


An evening with Joy Dey at St James Centre, Chapman Way, East Malling. A unique blend of songs from the shows, classic pop and opera arias – there is something for everyone. Singing to help heroes


THE newly-formed Malling Community Choir is going from strength to strength and has already been invited to take part in three concerts.


The choir, which formed in February, continues to develop and will join the Eynsford Concert Band at the Sevenoaks Community Hall on June 30.


The event is in aid of Help for Heroes and the choir hopes to perform two sets including the Military Wives

Around 40 people attend the weekly Tuesday rehearsals 7.15pm at Swan Street Baptist Church. The choir is open to all, whether you have never sung before, are an experienced singer, or have not sung for a long time. More male voices would be especially welcome. To join, just turn up.


Fun dog show and dog scurry, plus many other attractions including fun fair, BBQ, beer tent, bouncy castle, tombola, cakes and plants. Entrance fee: Adults £2, Children aged 5-16, £1.00, Children under 5 free. Further details are available on our website www.rspcaleybourne.com.

Malling Art Society, Offham Village Hall 8- 10pm every Thursday


Addington Bridge Club meet in Sports Pavilion, Park Road, every Tuesday from 7.00pm.
