the money raised from the walk would go towards programs aimed at preventing animal cruelty and promoting responsible dog ownership.
“T e RSPCA receives less than 2 per
cent of our annual funding from the government,” he said. “We care for over 44, 000 animals each
year, so every fund-raising dollar counts. “We wouldn’t be able to continue our work without the help of our generous
supporters.” Dogs attending the walk will need to
come prepared. RSPCA NSW events manager Sarah
Rossiter said dog owners should ensure their dogs were in good health and were well socialised.
