Saltash.net Community School have designed a Salt Torch. Carry it aloft on a lap, or two, of Saltmill Park.

World Record for largest Tai Chi lesson 5.00pm Be in Longstone Park and be counted as Saltash attempts to set a World Record. Anyone of any age or physical ability can participate.You don’t need prior experience.
Cultural Festivities in Longstone Park 10.00am Amanda's Pop Kids 11.00am Flats and Sharps – Cornish bluegrass band 12 noon Showcase of Local Talent – Winners from Saltash Speech, Music & Drama Festival and Saltash's Got Talent
1.00pm Hamer and Isaacs – Gypsy jazz band 2.00pm Livewire Youth Project Music Showcase 3.00pm Let’s Tango! Followed by a dance workshop 4.00pm 100 Voices Celebrate – Joint choir from local primary schools
6-6.45pm Japanese Taiko drumming – Performances by internationally-renowned Kagemusha Taiko and Callington Community College Taiko Group followed by expert-led workshop for the public
Festivities will move to the Waterside after the Torch has gone. 10am-4pm Toddler Games on Waterside Green Podium finishes on the hour every hour Live music from Anything Goes
7.30pm Follow Rubber Band as they lead people from Fore Street to the Waterside
8.00pm Kernocopia on Waterside Green – Theatrical extravaganza celebrating Cornish sporting legends
8.30pm Archive Filmshow at Ashtorre Rock (ticketed event – please contact Ashtorre Rock for details)
8.30pm Saltash Open Mic competition winners at the Union
9.15pm Land of the Giants band at the Union The Torch Route
7.15pm Callington Road by Burraton Crossroads Serenaded by Saltash Town Band
7.25pm Top of Fore Street serenaded by Rwind Band 7.27pm Bridge over A38 serenaded by the Rubber Band
