Medical student Andrew (19) was nominated by his father for his fundraising efforts to help a school in Ghana. Andrew raised £2,550 by taking part in an Ironman triathlon in
Zurich.The former Devonport High School for Boys student also worked in the IT department at his school, giving some of his earnings to the Ghana project.

Rene was nominated by her Lostwithiel Bowling Club mate Rosie Smith in recognition of her years of dedication to coaching bowls. During the past 20 years, Rene estimates to have introduced more than 1,500 people to the sport with the assistance of her husband Brian –
