CHICKENQUE Benefit: ChickenQue is the

May 6 4-H

only fundraiser for Sonoma County 4-H. It is a one day event: a barbecue with live music and dancing, booths with 4-H'ers showing off their hard work, games on the lawn, and a chance to visit with 7000 of your neighbors. All proceeds benefit the youth of Sonoma County, allowing the 4-H Council to put on events like Presentation Day and Fashion Revue,

to pay

for 4-H Camp, to give schol- arships, and allow youth to attend conferences. Sonoma County

SONOMA, CA. ~ The out- door shows are back! One of the first this year is one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen. The two shows that I saw were indoors, so this will be a little different. I promise it will be awesome and a show you will never forget.

I am

talking about Roger Waters' remake of The Wall at AT&T Park where the Giants play in San Francisco.

The show is

on Friday, May 11th and this show you don't want to miss! Here are some other shows I recommend in May...The Fox

Theater in Oakland

has Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros on May 2nd, Snow Patrol for two nights on May 4th and May 5th, Death Cab for Cutie for three nights on May 8th, May 9th and May 10th. Tenacious D with Jack Black on May 24th. The Black Keys will be at

Oracle Arena in Oakland on May 4th. The Uptown Theater in

Napa has Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers with Steve Lucky and The Rumba Bums opening the show on May 11th. Pride and Joy on May 18th and Mother Hips with Tea Leaf Green opening the show. The Mystic Theater in Napa

has a band I have been want- ing to see for awhile now and that would be The Low Rider Band. It's all the original members, except one, of War. I know it will be awesome, and I will be there May 6th. Also at the Mystic in May is Johnny Winter on May 16th, The Bodeans plus Nicki Blum and the Gramblers on May 18th. Rally for Ally - a live music benefit and silent auction

for Allyson Paige

who is dealing with cancer on May 20th.

In Nicasio, Rancho Nicasio has a Memorial Day barbeque on May 27th with Maria Muldaur and her Blusiana Band then Elvin

Bishop

with Ron Thompson and the Resistors opening on May 28th. -

For both shows, gates open at 3:00 p.m. and music starts at 4:00 p.m.

JOKES & Humor # 6 Shakey went to a

psychiatrist. "Doc," he said, "I've got trouble.

Every time I get into bed, I think there's somebody under it. You gotta help me, I'm going crazy!" "Come to me three times a week for two years," said the psychiatrist,

"and I'll cure your fears." "How much do you charge?"

Shakey on the street. "Why didn't you ever come to see me again?"

asked the psychiatrist.

"Too expensive. My paperboy cured me for ten dollars."

"Is that so! How?"

"He told me to cut the legs off my bed!"

A Hoppy Place!

"I'll sleep on it," said Shakey. Six months later the doctor met

"A hundred dollars per visit."
