arrakech is fast becoming the must see holiday destination. Over the years the dusty outpost in North Africa has been transformed into one of the chicest cities in the world. Inside, however, the city has changed very little, showing off stunning


historic terracotta bulidings from the 11th Century. The Riad Noga combines traditional design with modernised and environmentally friendly decor. The city itself always has something going and it is a lot greener than you may think with many beautiful gardens and palm tree plantations. One of the most spectacular places in Marrakech is La Jardin Majorelle. Opened to the public by furniture maker Louis Majorelle in 1924 and once the home of Yves Saint Laurent, the gardens are filled with large, brightly painted plant pots holding rare cacti, palms, bamboos and aquatic plants.
