T

here are plenty of ethical jewellery designers available that specialise in using fair-trade gold and ethically sourced stones and diamonds, for example London based Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery. They

specialise in one off commissions, and are due to be unveiled as one of the world’s first business to offer Fairtrade and Fairmined gold, so not only will your ring be ethical but it will be one of a kind. Owner Harriet Kelsall wants to be at the heart of the jewellery industry’s move towards a more ethical approach. Harriet said: “We are proud to be leading the way with this high profile and exciting launch. Responsibly sourced gold has been something we have offered our customers for some time, but only now is it properly rubber-stamped, with a process in place to make sure the paper-trail goes back to the artisanal miners for every piece of jewellery created.”
