with a wide range of survey sensors, not just Sea Bat. The PDS 2000 software crunches raw data so fast you can view it as a moving image or data set in real-time. Without switching application, you can handle data acquisition, editing, chart production and volume calculation while you’re still at sea. With close to real-time feedback, your team will make the right decisions every time, which simplifies your analysis and saves you valuable desk time. HydroBat – An entry level multibeam sonar for near shore surveys. It is compact, easy to use, with intuitive software interface. The HydroBats roll stabilisation maintains a full 120 degree swath in rough water. NaviSound – A singlebeam echosounder that is compact and robust, ensuring accurate results in all kinds of underwater surveys. Three variants are available. Sound Velocity Probes – From shallow water to 6,000 metres below sea-level, RESON produce a range of self recording and direct reading sound velocity probes and profilers. Hydrophones – A complete range of hydrophones for reference measurement, reference projectors, passive arrays, positioning systems and tracking systems. Transducers – RESON has developed an advanced line of transducers and hydrophones covering a frequency range of 0.1Hz to 2 MHz Accessories – mounting brackets, positioning equipment and cables. Sonar Installer Software – each sonar system is pre-installed with software tailored to that specific system. RESON installer software contains: User Interface, 7K centre software, Firmware installer and manuals. Feature Pack 2 – New beam modes have been introduced with FP2 replacing the old Equi-angle /equi-distant selections. This new pack
is available for 7125-DV2, ROV2, 8125 Hybrid and 7101. New Beam Modes - FlexMode is optimised for pipe inspection operations. An operator configurable centre sector is formed using very high density equi-angle beams and an underlying set of equi- distant beams provides coverage across the entire sector. FlexMode is available as an optional add-on to Features Pack 2.
FlexMode – on show at Oceanology International 2012 FlexMode is a special operating selection in Features Pack 2 applicable to 7125 SV2, 7125-ROV2, 8125 hybrid and 7101 systems. Features Pack 2 brings a wide range of new features to these systems and FlexMode is an optional extra designed especially for pipeline and small object detection & inspection operations. FlexMode is a combination of equi-distant and equi-angle beam distribution optimised for pipeline work. A user-defined equi-distant set of soundings is generated across the swath and then all available beams are concentrated into a narrow equi-angle sector which may be steered to follow the pipe.
FlexMode is selected directly from the user interface and does not require a system restart. Once selected, the operator is provided with additional controls specifically for FlexMode.
