A recent project that Imagemakers has

worked on is Explore the Walls, which aims to restore and re-interpret British city Chester’s iconic walls and towers. To complement this, Imagemakers created the Walls Quest app, which is powered by i-explore and will be available to down- load from March 1st. Combining factual information with maps and multimedia, users can play a social location quest game that enables them to unlock more content as they check-in to different locations around the walls in Chester. Using a GPS linked map, the app

pinpoints a visitor’s location and helps them navigate the 2.5km route. Along the walk they learn stories from the last 2,000 years and see historical objects reconstructed through 3D CGI animation. Audio and video dramatisations show some of the most fateful moments in Chester’s long history.
