All amortisation during the current and prior year is included in ‘operating expenses’ in the income statement. All additions relate to assets acquired externally.


As of 30 September 2011 and 30 September 2010 all goodwill and other intangible fixed assets were fully amortised and as such no impairment testing was deemed necessary.
