Creative Technology has supported Wimbledon for fifteen years, serving them with a variety of audio visual solutions, from large screens, to scoreboards, to a full production system build.


This year, CT provided the scoreboards and ‘Speed of Serve’ boards to the Centre, No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 Courts in addition to a further three match information displays for the public to keep abreast of the action from the courts as it unfolded. The scoreboards and speed of serve boards were supplied out of CT’s extensive Barco OLite display stock, with the mid-board information displays being built from Panasonic 12F modules. CT also installed and operated a vast video display built from 43m2


of Panasonic 12F on ‘Henman Hill’.


To fully utilise the court scoreboards’ video capability CT also provides an HD production facility located in Broadcasting House, enabling sports presentations on ‘Henman Hill’ and all court scoreboards. Taking feeds from the Hawkeye ball-tracking system and 16 camera feeds from the BBC, CT produced five tailored outputs using a wide array of mixing and production facilities.
