> The 2011 Home Depot Annual Managers Meeting, held in Las Vegas, utilised a variety of audio visual equipment and services from CT US. For the general session portion, two Barco XLM HD 30 Projectors supported a vast 22.5 x 40 ft screen at centre stage in addition to 160 panels of Flyer 12 for the stage columns. Eight Barco projectors were also provided, supporting projection screens stage right and left. Upstage, 288 panels of Barco MiTrix LED were constructed into two screens of 8x12 panels and two screens of 4x12 panels. Five Grass Valley LDK 3000 HD Cameras, a full video production system and screen switching system were provided in addition to a full audio system.
Numerous breakout sessions, product walks and the gala banquet also called upon CT’s audio and visual inventory to complete the event’s requirements.
> Taking place in the newly reburbished Ahoy Rotterdam, the 38th ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, part of the ATP World Tour 500 Series, ran for two weeks in February. Offering the 100,000 spectators an impressive view, CT supported 2011’s tournament by providing four 25m2
Mitsubishi OD10 screens positioned over the
main arena. Three PPU systems to feed the screens were also provided and all graphical content including statistics and scores was created by CT Europe.
> The National Board Members’ Conference for the National Housing Federation attended by 550 delegates was held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) over a three day period. All the set, stage, AV equipment, Panasonic 5K projector, show laptop and graphics switcher were supplied from the MCL NEC stock. The ICC lighting grid and sound system was supplemented with MCL radio microphones and LED lights.
