DECLUTTERING

Based on the theory that clutter drains both physical and mental energy, decluttering involves two components: the first focuses on releasing things (clothing, papers, furni- ture, objects and ideas) that no longer serve a good purpose in one’s life; the second focuses on creating a simple system of per- sonal organization that is easy to maintain and guards against accumulating things that are neither necessary nor nourishing.
