A bigger tractor-operated chipper C1060T

Kesla also launched a new tractor-operated chipper. With its wide in feed opening the new chipper model, called Kesla C1060T, provides excellent chipping results, especially in the chipping of logging residues and stems wood. Previously the same chipper C1060 has been available only as a truckmounted model. From now on this chipper, equipped with a 1000 mm x 600 mm infeed opening, can also be used with powerful tractors. The increasing capacity of tractors has also made it possible to increase the size and yield of chippers that obtain their power from the tractor output shaft. The chipper presented at the fair was fed with a Kesla 800T loader that has inside hosing. The wide range of loaders provides a suitable choice for various chipping and crushing needs.

Light drum type chipper C645

Also demonstrated was the Kesla C645, a light drum type chipper to be mounted on the chassis of a triple-axis truck. The chipper gets its power from the truck’s engine whereupon both the length and weight of the vehicle can be kept low, which is a clear advantage in case of chipping on forest roadsides. The controls of the chipper and crane are located in the

truck’s cabin. The assembly’s crane is KESLA 800 T, equipped with hoses inside the boom.
