New harvester head 25RH mkII
At Skogselmia 2011 in Sweden KESLA introduced a completely new harvester head model 25RH mkII. The head was developed, proceeding from the development needs and feedback from the users of more than 400 delivered 25RH units. New solutions to the frame, delimbing knives, shafts and bearings are targeted at even better durability and lower maintenance need even in the most demanding operating conditions. As the power of carriage machines is continuously increased, the efficiency ratio of hydraulics has been in special focus. The new, wider valve system contributes to clearly higher feeding power and speed while fuel consumption becomes significantly lower. With the new valve design, the ease of maintenance of the harvester head has also achieved a new level.
Kesla launches a new generation of loaders
Kesla has revised its crane model range starting with the medium capacity Z-loader, 2011Z. In modernising the model range, more attention is paid to the modularity and design flexibility of the models. Designing has involved advanced design technologies, while utilising practical experience gained over past decades. The first newcomers in the new loader range, 2111Z and 2111ZT, were introduced at SkogsElmia. The loaders are intended for timber loading in central Europe, but their design also meets the requirements for recycling. Excellent for processing recycled materials, the loaders are mounted either at the rear of the truck or behind the cabin. The loaders are now lighter and their
outreach increased to 9.6 m. The lifting boom has protected internal hydraulic piping and the

transfer boom has internal hydraulic hoses. The loader also incorporates the modernised Kesla rotator suspension, in which the hoses are covered. Stabilisers are provided with new modernised cylinders and an adjustable rotation system. Lifting capacity is increased by means of a wide-angle joint at the connection of the column and lifting boom. The loader is available with top seat controls or Kesla CL or XL cabins. These are the advanced models of the Comfort cabin range first introduced at FinnMETKO 2010.
