Unique clear preservative treatment launched Tanalised Clear pressure-treated timber is ideal for use in timber buildings, decking components, cladding and cedar shingle applications where the natural appearance of the timber is retained whilst having a preservative protection to Use Classes 1, 2 and 3. Developed by Arch Timber Protection, Tanalised Clear timber is treated with Tanalith M, a new metal-free preservative, which retains the natural, untreated appearance of the
timber rather than giving the pale green colouration of Tanalised E treated timbers. Based on an advanced and innovative formulation Tanalised Clear treatment pro- vides excellent protection against UV degradation and wood staining fungi, keeping the timber looking cleaner and brighter for longer when used in outdoor, above ground applications.

Kitchen specialist cooks up new brand identity Lanzet (Interior Contracts) has unveiled a new brand identity ahead of a major marketing cam- paign and new business drive. The privately owned, £3 million turnover business, with offices in Blackburn and Reading, has outlined ambitious plans for growth, including increasing revenues by at least 50 per cent in the next three years. The driving force behind Lanzet’s rebrand and market- ing campaign is managing director Barry Casement (pictured) who explained: “We have decided to focus on the Lanzet name, dropping Interior Contracts and believe this simplified approach will help us to reinforce our core values and business proposition. The new logo and branding, including the new tagline ‘Kitchen Excellence Since 1985’ will be applied across all of areas of our business, from the website to fitter
uniforms. Our new brand image brings to life our values of craftsmanship, quality, dedication and precision.”

Forbo’s new Allura: Luxury Vinyl Tiles with a difference
New Allura is an architecturally inspiring Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) collection from Forbo Flooring Systems, which combines design excellence with European manufacturing quality and impressive environmental credentials. Every design in the all new collection of Wood, Abstract, Stone and Ceramic effects is unique and Forbo has exploited the very latest advances in digital printing technology to introduce dramatic and vivid aesthetics, resulting in a floor covering offer with exceptionally broad appeal across all sectors. With the exception of the Ceramic effect tiles, which are homogeneous in construction, new Allura tiles are made using a dimensionally stable glass fleece interlayer to avoid shrinkage and have a tough calendared wearlayer and flexible PUR finish. They are offered in two qualities: Allura Premium (wearlayer 0.7mm) and Allura 0.55. Manufactured at one of Forbo’s European production sites, the collection meets the highest European standards and is REACH (Registration Evaluation Authority and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant, BRE A/A+ rated and stocked in Europe so shorter delivery times and competitive pricing can also be achieved.
