Time for the second part of our highlights round-up from the kitchen and bathroom show which took place at London’s ExCel in May…
Left: The Allure Brilliant is part of the Grohe’s new Spa range of bathroom fittings. Made up of a wide selection of products including single lever, two-handle taps, wall outlets and freestanding, the high- end collection has been created to offer a customisable bathroom design to suit the users’ needs.
Paul Flowers, Senior Vice President of Design at Grohe, says: “Grohe Spa has been developed in direct response to an emerging trend; people are investing more effort and dedicating more space to creating a relaxing bathroom experience. The concept is about evolving a traditionally rational space for cleaning and grooming into an emotional space that enhances wellbeing.”

Above: Abode kept up its track record for innovative new concept products by presenting its Isola sink. Made from granite, its highly unusual design is almost a sink within a sink. Clearly a style statement for a high-end kitchen, the concept was on display to gauge response from prospective trade buyers and by all accounts was met enthusiastically.
Abode also presented its Candela tap for the first time, a twin-lever kitchen tap which cleverly mixes a classic shape with an ultimately contemporary product.

Left: VItrA presented its T4 collection for its UK debut having been launched at ISH in Frankfurt earlier this year. VitrA designers have aimed for what they call ‘special relaxation’ with a range that includes a number of wall-hung ceramic and furniture designs.
The lines of the wall-hung WCs are uninterrupted, which has been achieved with innovative developments like the new blind fixing for wall-hung systems. This allows the unit to slide onto bolts protruding from the wall and the securing process is via a guidance tube for the allen key to lock the unit to the wall.
T4 furthers VitrA’s long term vision of creating complete families of products within a collection. Sizes, shapes and different room applications are all catered for including furniture in two depth options and six finishes. T4 is also features four bath designs including a spa pool.
