What is the purpose of the organisation? To promote the game of football for children, youths and adults in the Oban area
How long have you been involved with the organisation?
45 years as a player, manager and secretary. I’ve done everything from in forms.
How and why did you get started?
I’m a big football fan. My interest in the sport got me started and has kept me going.
Are you/have you been involved with any other voluntary groups?
I’ve been an Oban Saints man all my days, although

I started with a team called The Crusaders.
Why do you volunteer? If it weren’t for unpaid volunteers in most sports organisations they would survive.
What do you want to achieve in the role?
I want to see football in the area being played at a good level and see some
of our youngsters making the step up to professional football.
If you had unlimited access to funding for one project, what it be? To own our own playing and training facilities along with a clubroom and changing accommodation.
