Cloe Waterfield, MS, of TwentyFifty, LLC, Naples, was recently awarded a contract for Energy Educa- tional Outreach Services by the city of Naples to
implement an energy program under grant funding from the Florida Energy and Climate Commission. Through work- shops and a voluntary green business program, the initiative will help educate and empower residents and businesses to cut energy use and incorporate resource minimization actions into their everyday lives and operations.
Since moving here from the United
Kingdom 14 years ago and establish- ing her own consulting firm focusing on sustainability and climate change, Waterfield has implemented greenhouse gas emissions inventories and reduction plans for Collier County; the cities of Naples, Sarasota and North Port; Lee County; The Conservancy of Southwest Florida; and Pelican Bay.
“I commend the city of Naples as it continues its efforts to be the green jewel of our area,” says Waterfield. “This is an opportunity for residents and businesses to learn hands-on energy savings in order to save money, reduce the use of fossil fuel and be better environmental stewards.”
