ee County Parks & Recreation is con- ducting a contest for amateur videog- raphers to showcase its parks, preserves and recreation centers. Five finalists from entries submitted at
LeeParks.org by Au- gust 1 will have their videos featured on its website and a new YouTube channel, and the first-place winner will receive a free annual parking sticker good for all Parks & Rec facilities.
Parks & Rec staff members will select the finalists; a public vote on its YouTube site in early August will decide the winner, to be determined by August 12. Videos, which should include people engaged in a recreational activity at a facility that is clearly mentioned in the entry, will be judged on creativity and approach.
