Rookery Bay Sessions for Ecotour Operators and Public

cotour opera- tors can improve the quality and effec- tiveness of their work and the general public can learn more about our nature and wildlife by attending Rookery Bay Ecotour Providers Series events. Free presentations, all from 6 to 8:30 p.m., will be provided by Rookery Bay Reserve Coastal Training Program, the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program and the Society for Ethical Ecotourism. Eco-Research in Southwest Florida: Sea Turtles & Coyotes, will be held July 12, at the Rutenberg Center, in Fort Myers, and July 21, at the Rookery Bay Environmental Center, in Naples. Stewardship BMPs: Wildlife Rules
& Laws, will be the topic at the same facilities on August 9, in Fort Myers and August 18, in Naples. On September 13 and 15, Invisible Pollution and Seafood Safety will be discussed. Professional tour providers can receive a certification by attending sessions. Walk-ins are welcome and refreshments will be provided.
