Old Manor Cottages have designed their windows and doors to replicate those that have been in use for centuries. They aim to provide their customers with precisely matching period windows, yet having the benefit of modern features and comfort. All windows are hardwood tim- ber construction to period designs in use from around 1750 through to the early 20th
century. Narrow
19/20mm glazing bars are used throughout matching the Georgian/Victorian periods with through glazing bars and double glazed panes. The Box sash range uses traditional lead balance weights and all the expected period features. Case- ment windows are styled using traditional profiles and flush face sashes with discrete modern features for storm protection.

Old Time Timber have been care- fully selecting timber and prepar- ing hand finished doors, floors and other timber products for many years. Every piece of timber has its own individual characteris- tics and it is their careful selection of the timber that they use that makes their products unique. Their range of designs has been inspired both by traditional mod- els, and also by modern styles, and are all manufactured accord- ing to traditional joinery methods and techniques. Over the years they’ve come to understand the importance of being able to offer expert and sensitive advice as well as making items to the highest quality on which their reputation has been built. They use a variety of different timbers and also a considerable amount of reclaimed timber. All their doors are individ- ually handmade to order.

Solarlux’s contemporary Winter- garden structure made from alu- minium can be added to any part of the house, creating an exciting, light-filled living area. A glass roof and thermally insulated folding glass doors allow the light to fill the room. The doors can be folded back to open up the room creating a seamless transition between the house and the garden, and also the ‘wow’ factor. Solarlux manu- facture the wintergarden and doors, which are thermally insu- lated and have multipoint locking systems providing high security and a choice of double or triple glazing, all designed to maintain heat inside the house in winter or reflect heat from the house keeping it cool in summer. The folding glass door systems are made from alu- minium (to any RAL colour), wood/ aluminium or a choice of triple laminated wood to ensure stability.
