Solarlux
The launch of a super efficient folding glass door marks a significant development. Solarlux have launched their most efficient glass door to the UK market. Combining four core elements that enable the door to achieve a U value of 0.80Wm2
K, the new SL97 wood/aluminium
folding glass door is specially designed with the demands of energy saving in mind.
By using wood internally and a combination of insulating material and protective aluminium externally as well as triple glazing, the SL 97 has been able to combine the advantages of four materials. Inside, the wood panels create a natural warm atmosphere and, on the outside, the fully insulated rear-ventilated aluminium facing sheets guarantee permanent protection from the elements with only minimal maintenance.
The company envisages applications both in luxurious private homes and multi-storey high-quality rented and owner-occupied flats.

Garador
As demand for timber garage doors has increased, so has the range available from Garador, which has added no less than six new styles to its range; the Horizontal Cedar, Ashton, Ashton Chevron, Rochdale, Hinton and Sunrise. It has also been possible to add timber side hinged doors to the range in vertical and horizontal cedar, Kingsbury and Seymour designs offering even greater choice due to recent changes to the manufacturing processes. Simon Hipgrave, MD explained: “All timber doors from Garador are supported on our rigid galvanised steel chassis, which is then powder coated using the same precision engineering methods of the Garador steel doors. These doors will last for years with the right care and attention along the way. Now also with the option of fully finished doors in Light Oak, Dark Oak and Mahogany colours, yet another task that many consumers don’t enjoy, staining the door, is no longer required upon installation”. As expected from Garador all doors are manufactured with a high degree of crafts- manship. The company uses traditional methods of construction to create a traditional look for their doors.
