International has expanded into the west of Scotland with a new showroom on Great Western Road in Glasgow.

Scottish celebrity chef Nick Nairn opened the new kitchen showroom with a day of demonstrations, hands-on cooking and tips and techniques for getting the most out of your kitchen.

The new showroom, in the heart of Glasgow’s interiors district, offers customers German Leicht kitchens and British-built Stoneham kitchens for the first time ever.

As well as full kitchen displays, the showroom features appliances from V-Zug, Gaggenau and Siemens as well as Sub Zero fridges and wine coolers. Worktops are by Silestone, Ecogranite and Corian while integrated Introm lighting and audio equipment demonstrates how the kitchen has become the hub of the home.

Paul O’Brien, Business Development Director of Kitchens International says: “Glasgow is a key market for us and until now we have serviced it from Edinburgh. However, there is an increasing demand for high quality design, coupled with contemporary, aspirational kitchens in the west of Scotland. Kitchens International has a broad product portfolio that will meet this demand.

“We recognise that this expansion is a brave move in these challenging times but since we opened our doors we have had many requests for designs and acknowledge that many people are refurbishing their kitchens rather than moving house.” designer
