Projects submitted for consideration by the judging panel will be assessed on a number of key criteria:
• Originality and innovation; • Ergonomic functionality; • Integration with the space (including adaptation of existing space design); • Use of materials and technology; • Interpretation of client brief; • Aesthetic appeal and visual impact.

Our panel of expert judges will meet in July and select three fi nalists in each category, all of whom will be invited to attend the Design Awards 2011 gala presentation lunch at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 11 October 2011. There, the ultimate winners will be revealed in front of an audience of some of the most infl uential fi gures in the kitchen and bathroom sector.
