Getting away from the wrestling speak, we start talking about the first album and my favorite song from it, strangely enough “Half a day behind” the secret acoustic track right at the end of the album. I had been informed that it was a song Jaret had written about his little girl, I was mistaken! “No! I actually wrote that song! I was dating a girl and she went to university in New Zealand. But once my daughter got old enough to hear it and realise what was being said, it officially became about her, so she says “daddy wrote this song about me” and I say “yes I did” ha-ha.”

During their hiatus, Erik finished recording a solo album in L.A, Hollywood, with the guy who “backs him up” during his solo set tonight which he gleefully reminds me I’ll be missing with a cheeky wink, they all took the time to do their own things and now being back together it’s back on the Bowling For Soup train. Which Erik is extremely happy about being back on. He tells me how it’s busy doing the tour and when they’re apart they miss each other which can be taken as cool or sad,
